Last updated 29 September 2026

This policy covers both Revo Ride apps, the one riders use and the one drivers use, and the screen fleet operators use to manage their drivers. It explains what we hold about you, why, who else sees it, and how to have it removed.

Who we are

Revo Ride moves people and parcels. When you use either app, we decide what is collected and why, which makes us responsible for looking after it.

We are not yet trading. The legal entity, its registered address and the person responsible for data protection questions will be named here before the apps open to the public, and this page will be updated then.

In many countries anyone collecting personal data has to register with a data protection authority before doing so. Where that applies, we register before we open there, and our registration will be shown here.

What we collect

If you take rides or send parcels, we collect:

  • Your name, phone number and email address.
  • Where each trip started and ended, and any stops along the way.
  • The fare, and how you paid it.
  • Messages you send your driver in the app.
  • Ratings you give.
  • Anything you send our support team.
  • A code that lets us send notifications to your phone.

If you drive, we collect everything above, and also:

  • Your driving licence and the date it runs out.
  • The insurance on your vehicle, and the permits your city asks for.
  • Your vehicle details and a profile photo.
  • What you earn, and what you owe us.
  • Where you are while you are online. There is a section on that below.

If you run a fleet, we collect your business and contact details, the drivers attached to you, the fee you take from them, and the record of cash handed in and settled.

We do not ask for anything we do not need to run a trip, pay people correctly, or answer a question about what happened.

Location

This is the part most worth being clear about.

Riders. We use your location to find your pickup point and to show your driver approaching. We keep the start, the stops and the end of each trip as part of that trip’s record.

Drivers. While you are online and available for work, the app reports where you are so that nearby jobs can reach you. While you are on a trip, your position is what the rider watches on the map. When you go offline, that stops.

The trail is kept with the trip, because a complaint, a disputed fare or a safety question can only be answered by showing where the vehicle actually went.

How long we keep it is not yet settled. We would rather say so than publish a number we have not committed to. It will be stated here before the apps open, and it will be a defined period, not “indefinitely”.

Who else sees it

  • Your driver, or your rider. Each sees the other’s first name, photo where there is one, rating and the vehicle, plus the messages you exchange.
  • Your fleet operator, if you drive for one. They see your trips, what you collected and what you have handed in. They do not see your messages with riders.
  • Map and routing services, to draw the route and estimate arrival.
  • Our app and messaging providers, to deliver notifications and the codes that confirm your phone number.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it, and no further than it requires.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app. Riders, drivers and fleet operators can all do this. When you do, we remove your personal details and your account.

Two things we cannot remove, which is true of almost every business like ours:

  • Records the law says we must keep. Tax and payment records, for as long as the law says and no longer.
  • The other person’s record of a trip. A trip has two people in it. Deleting your account does not delete theirs.

Your rights

You can:

  • Ask what we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Ask us to correct it if it is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete it, apart from the two things above.
  • Ask us to restrict how we use it while a question about it is open.
  • Object to a particular use.

Write to us and we will answer.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

When your data leaves your country

Some of your data is stored and handled outside the country you are in. The services we use to run the apps, send notifications and messages, and draw maps sit in data centres elsewhere, so your data travels to reach them.

This is allowed where you agree to it, where it is needed to give you what you asked for, or where our agreements with those services keep your data properly protected. We rely on those grounds, we write down which one applies, and we have agreements in place with the services that handle your data for us.

By using the apps you are agreeing to this. If you are not comfortable with your data being handled outside your country, the apps are not for you. We would rather say that plainly than hide it.

If something goes wrong with your data

If someone gets hold of your data who should not have it, we have to tell the data protection authority straight away, and we will.

They decide whether and how the people affected are told, and we follow that. Where we can tell you ourselves without cutting across them, we will.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app rather than quietly updating this page. The date at the top always shows when it last changed.
